THE "L'ENFER" COLLECTION

Inspired by the mythical movie "L'Enfer". 

A cursed film.

In 1964, Romy Schneider and Serge Reggiani filmed "L'enfer" in total secrecy.

Director Henri-Georges Clouzot had written the screenplay himself, and was returning to the cinema after a four-year absence.

But after just three weeks of shooting, production is abruptly halted. 

Serge Reggiani, then Clouzot himself, fell victim to health problems, the severity of which put an end to the project. 

It was a magnificent disaster, and one that cinephiles are still talking about today. 

This revolutionary film promised to be "never seen before". The sequences shot were described as "hypnotic", "incandescent", "breathtaking".
