VALENTINO 

An artistic tribute to Valentino's vision.

I recently created a series of watercolor sketches inspired by five iconic Valentino fashion shows, each under the creative direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli. 

These drawings were commissioned by my sister, Ilana Hansen, who modelled in these collections, as a personal gift to the designer - a gesture to commemorate these significant moments and express our shared admiration.

Valentino L'École - Spring/Summer 2024

Presented on 1 October 2023 at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris, this collection celebrated the female form through minimalist silhouettes and daring cutouts, emphasising freedom and femininity.

Valentino Le Club Couture - Spring/Summer 2023

Presented on 29 January 2023, this haute couture collection fused the energy of 1980s club culture with high fashion, with bold designs and a vibrant atmosphere.

Valentino The Beginning - Spring/Summer 2023

Presented on 25 January 2023, this collection marked a return to Valentino's roots, focusing on timeless elegance and the essence of the house's heritage.

Valentino Pink PP - Autumn/Winter 2022-2023

Launched on March 6, 2022, this ground breaking collection featured an exclusive shade of pink, symbolising love, community and freedom, and was presented in various global activations.

Valentino Black Tie - Autumn/Winter 2023-2024

Unveiled on 8 March 2023, this collection reinterprets classic black tie with a modern twist, blending traditional elements with contemporary flair.

Through these sketches, I wanted to capture the essence of each collection, while highlighting the unique bond between my sister and I and our shared appreciation for Pierpaolo Piccioli's visionary work.
