MICHEL POLNAREFF
Painting of Michel Polnareff iconic poster from 1972, with "Miss Blue Jeans" and other elements of his songs and albums. Like "Le roi des fourmis", "Un train ce soir", "Sous quelle étoile suis-je né", "Viens te faire chahuter" and "Bulle de savon".
In 1972, to announce his upcoming show at the Olympia, in France, Michel Polnareff made a show of provocation.
6,000 posters were plastered all over the capital. On them, the singer was disguised by Paco Rabanne, with his back to the camera and his butt exposed.
At the time, it was a scandal! In a France that was still very puritanical, this marketing ploy didn't go down well.
This particular guitar model is the same guitar as Michel Polnareff used play on.
Signed by Michel Polnareff.
Painted on a 1978 Guild.
